Dávila Ricardo Santos was born in the Ria de Arosa (Puebla de Caramiñal) and lives up to sixteen years in the "Muiño Hair", the farm owned by her family there.

In 2003 he moved to Parauta where he directs a school of carving which later continued in Igualeja (Málaga): In both countries started a large number of youth in the chestnut wood carving.

In 2009 he settled in Arriate (Málaga) alternating stone sculpture carving olive wood (portraits, faces, legendary bandit of the Serrania de Ronda, Naked female, bust of Christ ....). The last piece of stone is a high-relief made of 3 meters of Gastor representing the Town Crier - "Isidro," that is located in the Plaza del Gastor (Cádiz).
Ricardo Davila is known for its carvings in olive roots that have given prestige internationally, his works appearing in various museums and private collections.
